Communicate UK working with international distribution company to deliver excellence in commercial CCTV & security systems

Communicate UK have recently completed the supply and installation of multiple security systems at the Essex site of international distribution concern, Woodland Global in Montrose Road, Chelmsford, Essex.
The specification for the work was highly detailed and required approval by various government departments, including HMRC, who contract Woodland for distribution services.
The primary requirement for the site was to install a state of the art CCTV security system to help in combating intruders on the site and deter thefts as well as assisting in the improved safety and security of staff and visitors to the premises.
Alongside this, the existing car park barrier system was also linked into the newly installed security systems to improve site visibility, with Communicate stepping up to the challenge of completing groundwork from within 5 working days of the order date in order to meet a HMRC approval deadline
To further enhance internal security systems for their clients, Woodland Global also ordered a computer recording access control system throughout the building. This again was designed, specified and installed by Communicate UK and this access control system together with the CCTV system will restrict staff access to certain parts of the site and enable more control and easier monitoring of stock and warehousing.
In addition to the specification, supply and installation of a CCTV security system, Communicate UK were also asked to provide an intruder alarm, which is monitored 24 hours a day and is also maintained and serviced under contract with Communicate UK. The CCTV and other security systems installed ensure that the site complies fully to specific insurance as well as client requirements.
